Job Description

.Net Developer

6+ months

Vancouver, Canada

Basic

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.

• At least 8 years of experience with Information Technology

Mandatory Skills: Asp.Net MVC, .Net 4.X, REST APIs

Good to Have Skills: Azure, Kafka

Skillset

• At least 5 years of experience in development in .Net Technologies

• Strong experience REST APIs development using .Net Framework

• Strong experience in .Net Frameworks as Asp.Net MVC, .Net 4.X, Entity Framework

• Strong experience in design, reviews and solution approaches

• Strong Analytical and Problem Solving Skills

• Experience in Nuget, Jenkins, Github, Sonar

• Experience to Retail domain (Supply Chain, Inventory Management) is a plus

• Experience in Web and Windows Application Development

• Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment

• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of Azure cloud - Messaging Queues, API Gateways (Apigee) or open MQ frameworks as Rabbit MQ/Active MQ

• Experience in Azure, MongoDB, JMeter, NUnit

• Knowledge of Deployment and Management Services (Migrating On Premise Applications to Azure Cloud)

• Knowledge and Working experience of Kafka would be a plus

• Knowledge of VBA will be an added advantage
