The Account Manager is the client-facing individual who will be responsible for creating the client strategy to determine how to align Syndigo's solution best to help clients achieve their larger strategic initiatives. &nbsp; The Account Manager will work directly with the primary contact and executive sponsor at each organization to create an account plan focused on value demonstration and delivery to each client's needs.&nbsp; The role is focused on institution-wide engagement to ensure client renewals and growth by embedding into our clients' business processes.&nbsp; The Account Manager will work closely with client relations and customer service to ensure all needs are met and expectations are exceeded for each specific client.&nbsp; This is a quota-carrying sales role focused on Mid-Market clients and is measured by a renewal and growth quota.&nbsp;&nbsp; HOW WE’LL BE WINNING TOGETHER DAY TO DAY&nbsp; <ul> <li>Maintain and form new relationships with different buyers at small to mid-market brands&nbsp;</li> <li>Relentless focus on the customer experience and how to maximize their value realization with Syndigo&nbsp;</li> <li>Manage the full sales cycle for renewal opportunities&nbsp;within a defined customer base&nbsp;</li> <li>Lead strategic contract negotiations to align service options with client needs while meeting retention targets&nbsp;</li> <li>Collaborate with expansion sellers to identify and close upsell and cross-sell opportunities within a defined customer base to meet growth targets&nbsp;</li> <li>Dedicate time to learning and skill growth to achieve KPIs and grow as a sales professional&nbsp;</li> <li>Leverage the Syndigo tech stack to make data-driven decisions, document customer communication, prioritize approach to the territory, stay organized, and accurately forecast revenue outcomes&nbsp;</li> <li>Diagnose and engage higher risk customers and leverage internal resources to direct a resolution strategy&nbsp;</li> <li>Navigate Syndigo's solutions on behalf of the client, ensuring the appropriate solution is proposed to meet a client's problems&nbsp;</li> <li>Problem solve with customers and guide them through the complex product information and syndication landscape to position yourself and Syndigo as a valued partner&nbsp;</li> </ul> WE SHOULD TALK IF THIS SOUNDS LIKE YOU&nbsp; <ul> <li>3-5 years account management experience, ideally B2B and in the saas space&nbsp;</li> <li>Motivation to learn, problem solve, and develop skills to be successful in tech sales&nbsp;</li> <li>Familiar with the fundamentals of sales and the basics of customer service&nbsp;</li> <li>Strong relationship building, listening, and interpersonal skills&nbsp;</li> <li>Comfortable with using technology in daily workflows and decision-making&nbsp;</li> <li>Strong organization and time management skills are critical&nbsp;</li> <li>Ability to write and speak clearly and professionally&nbsp;</li> <li>Experience in SaaS, managed services, and analytics is a major plus&nbsp;</li> <li>Experience doing business with consumer brands and/or retailers is a plus&nbsp;</li> <li>Previous training and practice with a sales methodology is a major plus&nbsp;</li> <li>Experience using Salesforce is a major plus&nbsp;</li> <li>Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required&nbsp;</li> </ul> &nbsp;<div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="description">For full-time U.S. based-employees, we offer competitive health insurance benefits, PTO and volunteer time off, employer-paid short- and long-term disability, parental and adoption leave, 401(k), and tuition reimbursement.
