The Senior Process Engineer is responsible for leading process optimization efforts within operations as well as improving efficiency, reducing waste, and enhancing product quality through data-driven decision making.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze and optimize operational performance, efficiency, and throughput
Lead root cause analysis for recurring defects and downtime issues
Develop and implement process improvements that reduce cost and improve yield
Collaborate cross-functionally with production, maintenance, and quality teams
Establish and refine standard work and operating procedures
Support trials for new materials, yarns, weaving patterns etc.
Mentor junior engineers or technicians
Drive measurable improvements in KPIs (OEE, scrap rate, first-pass quality)
Coordinate plant layouts, machine installation and start-up processes
Work to resolve issues, improve quality, reduce customer complaints, ensure consistent batch quality and improve material yield

Works independently on moderately complex problems
Owns projects with measurable business outcomes
Impacts multiple departments or product lines

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Textile, Mechanical, Industrial, or related)
3–7 years of relevant manufacturing/process engineering experience
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience with Lean/Six Sigma methodologies and Pareto analysis preferred
