Welders

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Repair and maintain heavy duty and other construction machinery
Cut and fit, heat and bend, perform weld repairs, salvage, rebuild parts as directed
Inspect work to ensure quality during and after production
Standing, kneeling, lifting up to 100 pounds regularly
Maintain cleanliness and safety of the shop and yard
May be required to respond to service calls at customers worksites
Other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications:

· MUST HAVE GEAR

Minimum 3 years stick welding (MIG/TIG) experience
Must be able to interpret complex drawings and job specifications
Basic computer skills preferred
Must be able to read, write, and speak English
Must be able to pass drug test
Must be able to provide Motor Vehicle Record at time of job offer (current within 15 days)

Knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing (face-shield, gloves etc.)
Deftness and attention to detail
Proficient in English
Successful completion of a relevant apprenticeship program is required
Professional Certification (e.g. an AWS welding certificate) will be a plus
