Job Description

This candidate will be a part of Linux Deployment team who has to take care of below points. This team takes care of building the servers by following the solution document provided by UNIX solutions team.

Co-ordinate with Storage, Windows, Monitoring and data protection, team when they are building the servers and they have to ensure that everything is configured as per the Our Client’s standards

Co-ordinate with application, database and project team and assist them in their installation and configuration of application/database

Deliver the servers on time within a defined deadline

Qualifications

Minimum 8-10 years of experience in Computing Services

Good knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.X and 6.X OS installation, configuration and troubleshooting, iptables, network configuration, LVM, NFS configuration

Good knowledge of scripting and automation

Knowledge of VMware ESX. VM creation and configuration

Server hardening and patching. OS upgrades and rpm installation

Kickstart configuration, User and File System management

Should have knowledge of physical servers (Dell servers), console and virtual servers

Knowledge of adding and configuring storage LUNs to Linux servers

Knowledge of mail servers and apache configuration

SSL certificates installation. Passwordless SSH configuration
