Job Description

5+ years of experience with relational databases
5+ years of experience working with business logic/transformation logic
5+ years of experience with data modeling, data profiling tools such as Erwin, Alteryx and IBM Information Analyzer
CDDW houses all customer and dealer data. Currently, there are 8 domains that encompass large amounts of data. This data modeler will be responsible for deconstructing the domains to objects and artifacts so that smaller groups of data can be accessed.

1. Experience with Data, databases, data flow, data solutions
2. strong analysis skills across data technologies
3. Understanding of business logic/transformation logic (ex. Nullable fields, data validation, data cleansing....)

Efficiently write STTM (source to target mapping) docs by understanding the primitive (core) data model, source data, and how to move the data from source to primitive.
Use data modeling technology to deconstruct the 8 domains
Become the SME and primary communication point for the data they are assigned/responsible for Use the following tools on a daily basis:

Erwin Data Modeler
Data Profiling tools such as Alteryx, IBM Information Analyzer;
Data Catalog tools such as Collibra

There are currently 8 domains within the CDDW and the APIs are for on use case only. With only one use case, the data cannot be customized. Deconstructing the domains will allow better data.
