IT Network Specialist

Company Description

This company is a multinational pharmaceutical firm, which operates also in Kazakhstan. The headquarter of the firm is in Istanbul Turkey. This position will be located in Almaty and will not need any travel domestically, or internationally. It is a full time and on-site position.

Job Description

• Analysing and solving problems of the network
• Network traffic monitoring
• Managing Active Directory related tasks, requests
• Installing servers; giving support to installing and configuring switches, routers
• Setting up laptops, thin clients, printers and solving the related problems
• Handling user support
• Implementing of IT procedures set by headquarters

Qualifications

• University degree (Computer Science, Electrical and Electronics, Electronic Communications preferred)
• 3+ years working experience in Network Operations & Helpdesk
• Experienced in operation and management of network and communication systems
• Experienced in Cisco hardware and network components (access point, router, switch) and ability of maintenance, configuration, security operations.
• Having good knowledge of network topologies, LAN/WAN, DHCP, DNS, IP switching, routing, VMWare ESX management, Windows Client OS
• Good knowledge in Microsoft Servers, Active Directory, Exchange
• Competent in problem solving, customer-oriented, capable of research, analysis and planning

Good verbal/written command of English or Turkish, at least intermediate level in Russian
