In this role, you will be involved with multiple aspects of facility waste management. This is a unique role that will give you exposure to RCRA and DOT compliance, technical services, transportation, solid disposal coordination, ten-day transfer of hazardous waste and universal waste management. This role is onsite and is based in New Braunfels, TX. Essential responsibilities: <ul> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">Develop the knowledge and experience to manage a permitted facility.</li> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">Understand facility permit and local governing agency expectations for waste management.</li> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">Assist with general facility compliance including performing daily/weekly/monthly compliance checks, training, SOP implementation/review, and process review.</li> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">Assist with general facility operations including serving as management if the facility manager is not available.</li> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">Consolidate waste according to permits, disposal facility requirements, and customer preferences.</li> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">Assist with waste determinations/profile management.</li> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">Coordinate outbound loads- setting up deliveries, scheduling transporters, etc.</li> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">Develop an understanding of OSHA regulations, Triumvirate’s Health and Safety Practices, and EPA regulations.</li> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">Demonstrate your supervisory leadership abilities through interaction with coworkers.</li> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">Work towards becoming familiar with technical, customer service, and business components of environmental services.</li> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">Work with computerized waste tracking systems.</li> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">Upon completion of emergency response (ER) training, you will be part of an in-house ER team.</li> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">Drive a forklift.</li> </ul> Basic Requirements: <ul> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">Ability to work as a member of a team as well as individually.</li> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">Customer service orientation.</li> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">Comfortable using computers.</li> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">Must be eligible to work in the United States without future sponsorship&nbsp;</li> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">Must have a reliable form of transportation&nbsp;</li> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">Must be willing to consent to Motor Vehicle Record screening, criminal background check, pre-employment physical, and drug screen (inclusive of THC)&nbsp; </li> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">Upon employment, you will be required to participate in a random drug screening program (inclusive of THC) as part of our company’s commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment&nbsp; </li> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">Must be able to lift 60 pounds on a regular basis&nbsp; </li> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">Ability to work overtime on a regular basis&nbsp; </li> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">Must be willing to work flexible hours within the work week (Monday through Friday)&nbsp; </li> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">Must be able to report to designated office within 1 hour during Emergency Response rotating shifts&nbsp; </li> <li style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt;">This position&nbsp;frequently handles hazardous chemicals and biological waste and is responsible for putting on and taking off personal protective equipment.
