This position assists the Market Manager by contributing&nbsp;to on-the-ground operations and supporting a team of Field Specialists to deliver effective&nbsp;program activity in a highly regulated industry (tobacco/nicotine). The ideal candidate excels in&nbsp;leadership, communication, and possesses a strong ability to motivate and guide teams in a&nbsp;dynamic convenience store environment.&nbsp;The Assistant Manager will serve as a daily operational leader, ensuring Field Specialists are&nbsp;prepared, supported, and performing at their best. This includes conducting site visits, providing&nbsp;real-time coaching, and addressing challenges as they arise to maintain program standards and&nbsp;compliance. They will assist with training execution, performance monitoring, and quality assurance, ensuring every activation meets brand and regulatory expectations. This role requires flexibility, strong organizational skills, and a proactive mindset to keep operations running smoothly across multiple locations. Key Responsibilities ● Support and Reporting: Partner with the Market Manager to execute retail strategies and&nbsp;provide comprehensive reports on field activities and performance metrics ● Retail Communication and Relations: Cultivate and sustain strong relationships with&nbsp;retail partners to ensure smooth program operations, addressing and resolving issues&nbsp;with professionalism. ● Leadership and Development: Guide and develop Field Specialists by providing&nbsp;essential tools and knowledge. Assisting with regular training sessions and ongoing&nbsp;support. ● Program Optimization: Collect and analyze on-site feedback to refine program tactics,&nbsp;while implementing effective solutions to boost program efficiency. ● Inventory Oversight: Aide in distribution and tracking of program materials and assets,&nbsp;ensuring timely communication of issues and escalation as needed.
