Talroo Inc. seeks Engineering Manager for its office in Austin, TX &nbsp; Key job responsibilities:&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; <ul> <li>Build and manage a high-performing engineering team, identifying and addressing skill gaps as the company grows. This includes mentoring and coaching junior engineers.</li> <li>Ensure robust IT infrastructure, supporting Talroo’s business executions.</li> <li>Manage the maintenance and optimization of AWS infrastructure.</li> <li>Oversee the development, optimization, and maintenance of technical code.</li> <li>Provide training on and actively participate in the writing and reviewing of code across multiple languages.</li> <li>Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to drive product innovation and successful project delivery.</li> <li>Set and maintain high standards for employee ethics, as well as code quality, architecture, and system design.</li> <li>Drive continuous improvement through the adoption of best practices, tools, and technologies.</li> <li>Provide technical guidance and support to team members, aiding in problem-solving and decision-making processes</li> </ul> Minimum Requirements: The position requires at least Master’s Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Data Science or related field. 4 years of experience in software development, data science, or machine learning. Demonstrated experience with the following: &nbsp; <ul> <li>Mentoring, training, or coaching other engineers, interns, or peers.</li> <li>Defining deliverables, managing priorities, and contributing to successful project completion.</li> <li>Developing data-driven applications and analytics systems.</li> <li>Distributed systems and data processing frameworks, including Spark (PySpark or Scala).</li> <li>Cloud infrastructure (AWS or similar) for application deployment and optimization.</li> <li>Developing applications using programming or scripting languages such as Python, Java, or PHP</li> </ul>
