About the Position Golden State is seeking a proactive and dedicated Specialist to serve as the primary liaison with our third party pest control and landscaping partners. In this role, you will assist the Custodial &amp; Sustainability team with Chase Center quality assurance, custodial projects, and sustainability initiatives. Additionally, you will contribute to ensuring that all Golden State properties show up and are maintained in a world-class manner. Key Responsibilities <ul> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Oversee the integrated pest management program across all Golden State properties and ensure this program adheres to high service standards</li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Develop comprehensive pest reports which identify trends and patterns across all properties</li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Utilize third-party vendor's digital pest tracking platform and smart-trap data to map activity and provide root-cause analysis and findings</li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Collaborate with internal and external clients regarding event logistics</li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Partner with internal departments to enforce pest mitigation strategies and sanitation standards</li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Support daily, pre-event, event, and post-event operations to ensure venue readiness and overall cleanliness</li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Coordinate and monitor exterior landscaping and groundskeeping services, ensuring the surrounding complex is visually appealing and meets organizational standards</li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Lead efforts in developing, implementing, and monitoring standard operating procedures (SOPs) through regular quality-assurance (QA) facility walkthroughs and vendor performance audits</li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Lead the Custodial and Sustainability team’s efforts to manage the work order system (CMMS), including inputting, tracking, monitoring, and ensuring preventative maintenance/repairs with a focus on pest control and custodial initiatives</li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Support venue's zero waste strategies and sustainability initiatives (i.e., maximize waste diversion, optime recycling and compost programs, and ensure environmental compliance)</li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Other duties as assigned</li> </ul> Required Experience &amp; Skills <ul> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">High school diploma/G.E.D. or equivalent work experience</li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">3–5 years of facility operations experience, preferably within a large-scale sports, entertainment, or hospitality venue</li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Google Workspace; experience with CMMS platforms, digital pest tracking is highly preferred</li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Proven experience managing external contractors to ensure contract compliance and quality assurance</li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Must maintain a valid California driver’s license</li> </ul> Time Commitment <ul> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Flexibility to be on-call as needed and work varying schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays based on event calendar</li> </ul> Physical Demands <ul> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Ability to stand, walk, and navigate large arena spaces for extended periods (65% of the time)</li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Ability to move, lift, carry, pull, or push heavy objects up to 50 lbs. unassisted</li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Ability to work in varying temperature environments (internal and external parts of the building) and occasionally access confined spaces</li> </ul> Compensation <ul> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">$32.00 - $34.00 Per Hour + Bonus</li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Comprehensive Medical, Dental and Vision benefits for employees and dependents</li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Employer 401K match</li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Vacation, Summer Half-Day Fridays and a generous paid time off plan for pregnancy and parental leaves</li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Warriors home tickets, team store discount and more!</li> </ul> &nbsp; &nbsp; Pursuant to the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance, we will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records. &nbsp;Golden State is an equal opportunity employer.
