<p><strong>VP of Engineering</strong></p> <p>We're looking for a VP of Engineering to own technical strategy and team leadership as we scale. This is a hands-on leadership role — you'll set direction, but you'll also still be close enough to the systems to make sharp technical calls under pressure.</p> <p><strong>What you'll do:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Own engineering strategy, architecture direction, and delivery across multiple teams</li> <li>Build and scale engineering management structure as the org grows — hire, develop, and retain engineering managers and senior ICs</li> <li>Partner directly with Product and the executive team on roadmap, headcount planning, and technical tradeoffs</li> <li>Establish and maintain engineering practices (code quality, on-call, incident response, technical debt management) appropriate for a scaling org</li> </ul> <p><strong>What we're looking for:</strong></p> <ul> <li>8+ years in software engineering with progressively increasing scope, including at least 3-4 years in a Director-level-or-above engineering leadership role</li> <li>A track record of building engineering organizations, not just running an existing one — you've grown a team, stood up new functions, or scaled headcount meaningfully</li> <li>Strong technical depth: you can still read a system design doc critically and have an informed opinion, not just manage the people who write them</li> <li>Experience operating in a fast-growing, resource-constrained environment</li> <li>This is a first VP role for many strong candidates — we care more about demonstrated scope and trajectory than whether "VP" is already on your resume</li> </ul> <p><strong>Nice to have:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience in complex, regulated, or high-stakes technical domains (fintech, infra, healthtech) where reliability and correctness carry real weight</li> <li>Experience partnering directly with a CEO or executive team, not just reporting up through another VP/CTO</li> </ul><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="description"><p>Test</p></div><div class="title">Range</div><div class="pay-range"><span>$10,000</span><span class="divider">&mdash;</span><span>$20,000 USD</span></div></div></div>
