Direct exchange experience is a plus, but we are open to leaders who have owned sophisticated large-scale, complex, production engineering environments.&nbsp; Our environment includes Linux, Java, C++, Python, Rust, Bash, Ansible, Prometheus, VictoriaMetrics, Grafana, and Azure, with predominantly on-prem production.&nbsp; What You’ll Do&nbsp; <ul> <li>Lead and develop the SRE organization across Equities and Options.&nbsp;</li> <li>Define and drive our strategy for reliability, observability, automation, incident management, capacity, and performance.&nbsp;</li> <li>Partner with Core Development, Network Engineering, Market Operations, and Platform Engineering, as well as business and regulatory stakeholders to operate highly reliable, performance-sensitive trading systems.&nbsp;</li> <li>Develop tooling, including CLI tools used to support our production systems.&nbsp;</li> <li>Develop engineers and technical leads while creating common standards and best practices across teams.&nbsp;</li> <li>Remain technically engaged and help teams troubleshoot complex issues across applications, infrastructure, hardware, and networks.&nbsp;</li> </ul> What We’re Looking For&nbsp; <ul> <li>Proven experience building, leading, and scaling global SRE, Production Engineering, or Infrastructure teams responsible for highly available, business-critical production systems.&nbsp;</li> <li>A track record of driving technical and organizational change.&nbsp;</li> <li>Strong understanding of Linux, networking, automation, observability, and production operations.&nbsp;</li> <li>Experience with performance-sensitive or highly available systems; trading or exchange experience is a plus.&nbsp;</li> <li>An intellectually curious mindset and willingness to challenge how things are done. &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;</li> </ul> Our job titles may span more than one career level. The starting annual base pay is between $250,000 and $300,000 for this NY-based position. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands.
