As a Software Engineer, you will join a quant-heavy team of data scientists, optimization engineers and energy market experts. Your focus is the engineering side of these services: architecture, tooling, reliability, system interfaces, observability. This is a hands-on role - you will write code every day and own the standards and foundation the rest of the team builds on. What You'll Do

Own the structure and quality of our optimization codebase - architecture, refactoring, testing - and set the engineering bar the team works to

Ensure the optimization stack holds up as we scale our portfolio to GW-scale and new geographies

Standardize what is currently bespoke, and decide what has to be rebuilt versus hardened

Handle reliability and edge cases in the trading path, define graceful failure modes - for example, what should happen when a bid submission fails halfway through? We encourage in-office collaboration but support a hybrid work model.
