Sioux Area Metro is South Dakota’s largest transportation provider. Our mission is to have a positive social and economic impact on the community by providing a safe and reliable transportation option for all who live, work, or play in Sioux Falls.&nbsp; As a Facilities Technician at SAM by Via, you will be responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of SAM’s properties. On the job training will be provided. What You’ll Do: <ul> <li>Clean buses, bus shelters, and buildings</li> <li>Maintain buildings and grounds, including general yard work and light building maintenance skills</li> <li>Additional responsibilities will be shared during the interview</li> </ul> Who You Are: <ul> <li>Possess basic knowledge of HVAC, carpentry, and plumbing</li> <li>Hold a valid SD driver’s license</li> <li>Able to obtain a CDL permit</li> <li>Able to pass a pre-employment physical</li> <li>Pass a drug screening and background check: no felonies, clean MVR, no DUI/DWI or reckless driving convictions, and no more than 2 speeding tickets</li> <li>At least 21 years old</li> <li>Able to apply in person at the Sioux Area Metro office</li> </ul> Compensation and Benefits <ul> <li>Final salary will be determined by the candidate’s experience, knowledge, and skills.</li> <li>Salary: $21.12 - $23.47/hour depending on experience.</li> <li>Benefits include health, dental, and life insurance, 401K, clothing allowance, holiday pay, vacation days, bonus days, and tool allowance</li> <li>Shifts are bid by seniority</li> </ul> Ready to join the ride?
