Whether you're troubleshooting a challenging repair or performing routine maintenance, your expertise, attention to detail, and commitment to safety make a real difference every day. You'll work alongside a team that takes pride in doing things right and always has each other's backs.

What You’ll Do

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, service, and repair forklifts and other material handling equipment, including engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, transmissions, brakes, and lifting systems.
  • Perform preventative maintenance, equipment inspections, component rebuilds, and repairs to keep equipment operating safely and reliably.
  • Put safety first by following proper repair procedures, maintaining a clean and organized work environment, and meeting company and regulatory safety standards.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service, document repairs accurately, maintain tools and supplies, and continue building your skills through technical training and certifications.

What You’ll Bring

  • 3+ years of forklift repair or related mechanical experience, and a valid driver's license.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude, diagnostic and troubleshooting skills, experience with precision measuring tools, and knowledge of material handling equipment. Certification on at least 65% of the Briggs Equipment product line is required.
  • A customer-first attitude, clear communication skills, and a commitment to teamwork, safety, and doing quality work. Trade school training, Hyster-Yale certifications, and welding or fabrication experience are a plus.
  • The ability to perform physical work, including frequent standing, bending, twisting, and lifting up to 75 pounds, along with providing your own tools.
