JOB DESCRIPTION  

Designation: Back End Developer

Relevant Experience: 5-8 years 

Location: Bengaluru/Pune/Chennai, Gurgaon

As a Backend Software Developer, you will design and develop various applications for our products and as part of our service offerings. You will work collaboratively with a team of Software Developers and Product Managers to analyze user requirements and setup continuous integration and continuous deployment for applications. You should be able to write clean, readable, and maintainable code. With a hunger for all thing’s tech, you will bring an open mind to learning new things as well as a fresh perspective.

Position Responsibilities

· Working closely with product management to help identifying technical feasibility when dealing with product requirements

· Supporting architects and development team in brainstorming sessions to go forward with new development for both backend and frontend technologies

· Must have a strong handle on concurrency and scalability challenges and design solutions with heavy emphasis on code testing and designing for testability

· Develop new features across the entire stack including keeping unit test coverage above 90%

· Maintaining and optimizing current code base

· Giving daily updates in daily stand-up sessions with the team

· Maintain system technical documentation

· Mentoring junior developers and helping them out when necessary

Minimum Requirements

· Strong Java Programming (Java 8 or higher); 5-8 years of enterprise or professional experience

· Experience in Micro-Services/API architecture

· Experience in highly available, highly scalable architectures (Must have)

· Experience working with existing Nodejs based Restful APIs or developing new APIs / Hands-on in packaging & deploying on VM or on containers (Must have)

· Node AND (React or Angular) - SpringBoot /Rest Services (Java). (Must know java & Nodejs, React or Angular)

· Have knowledge of deployment, automation, orchestration, and monitoring tools (e.g. Jenkins)

· Knowledge of Linux as well as Windows

· Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases

· Familiarity with cloud technologies such as AWS and Kubernetes

· Candidate must understand DevOps
