Metallurgist (Erie PA) (FULL TIME – DIRECT PLACEMENT/PERMANENT OPPORTUNITY)

Erie, PA

Salary Range: $55k-$60k Yearly

For over 65 years, our client has been a successful employer offering full-service Contract Machining, Heat Treating processes and Material Research to aerospace, automotive and related industries

Immediate opening for Metallurgist in our A2LA-accredited Erie, PA laboratory. The successful candidate will conduct failure analysis and support other materials testing according to customer and third party specifications.

Qualifications

Requirements:

Work well with others in a fast-paced, close team environment
Strong MS Office computer skills required; LIMS experience preferred
Failure analysis experience required
Bachelor’s degree in sciences required; metallurgical degree preferred
Experience with metals testing equipment and techniques required
Excellent written communication skills needed
Experience working in an A2LA / ISO 17025 environment preferred
