To support the team members on technical aspect and to build the team for the future. The Senior Advanced Embedded Engineer is responsible for the management and successful completion of all the activities related to a Work Package either at the System level or at the Subsystem level
Will be part of systems validation team performing validation and qualification of Honeywell process control systems in the Tools working mainly on the Enabled Services.
The candidate needs to understand Agile product development process and will have to closely collaborate and work with product development team.
Requires understanding the product requirements, plan the testing, prepare test cases, execute the testing and report the defects in defect tracking tool.
Ensuring timely completion and submission of weekly test reports. Should take initiative in giving innovative ideas and enhancement suggestions for new or existing products.
Will need to work with other global stakeholders to plan Test Efforts and Track execution as per plan. Work on Risk identification and mitigation.
Will be responsible for Test strategy, design & execution of different types of test covering functional and non functional requirements.
Will be responsible for independently assess the quality of a program and raise flag on concerns.
Need to work with the test automation team in automating the test cases.

Qualifications

B. Tech – Instrumentation and Control, Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunication.

12-15 years of experience.

Preferred Skills

Industrial experience in refinery process or power plant and knowledge of critical control loops.
Control strategy creation using Configuration Studio and Control Builder.
Knowledge of Server and client topology and having work experience on FTE(Fault Tolerant Ethernet).
Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and/or Test Life Cycle.
Knowledge of Testing Security of the Distributed Control Systems.
