In this role, you will be responsible for executing mechanical maintenance, inspections, repairs, and machining work across heavy processing plant infrastructure—ensuring maximum equipment reliability, safety, and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities: - Perform preventive, routine, and breakdown maintenance on fixed plant machinery, including crushers, conveyors, ball mills, screens, pumps, and gearboxes. - Execute machining, manual turning, and precision fitting tasks to fabricate or repair critical componentry on-site. - Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic system faults efficiently to minimize plant downtime. - Conduct precision alignments, bearing replacements, and drive system overhauls. - Uphold strict site safety standards, taking an active role in risk assessments, JSEA/SWMS development, and toolbox talks.
