The role involves maintaining financial records, handling accounting entries and reconciliations, supporting billing and payments, and assisting with statutory compliance and reporting. Key Responsibilities: • Maintain books of accounts, including journal entries, vouchers, and ledger posting • Handle day-to-day accounting transactions and documentation • Prepare and process invoices, payment entries, receipts, and expense records • Perform bank, vendor, and customer reconciliations • Maintain accurate records of expenses, purchases, and operational transactions • Assist in GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance-related activities • Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, auditors, and the finance team for required documentation • Support monthly financial reporting and MIS preparation • Ensure timely updating and proper maintenance of accounting records • Assist with resolving accounting discrepancies and maintaining accurate financial data Requirements: • 1–3 years of experience in accounting or finance roles • B.Com / M.Com / Diploma in Accounting or a related qualification • Good understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping • Proficiency in Tally and MS Excel or similar accounting software • Basic knowledge of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance • Good attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial records • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines • Good communication and coordination skills What We Offer: • Opportunity to work in a leading infrastructure and logistics environment • Hands-on exposure to port and operational accounting processes • Learning and growth opportunities within the finance function • Collaborative and professional work environment Apply Now: Send your CV to Contact@aicltd.in with the subject line “Accountant – Dighi Port” .
