Title: AWS Cloud Administrator
Location: Raleigh NC 27601
Duration: 6 months contract

Excited to make a positive impact on the delivery of digital services, resources, and content for our state agency partners and citizens.
Eager to responsibly leverage AWS cloud services to innovate
Be willing to work outside of core business hours in the event of an emergency or a significant project launch or code deployment.
Follow security, scalability, and performance best practices
Prefer open source and be rooted in LAMP stack technologies.
Willing to support traditional web operational tasks (i.e. customer support tickets for redirects) Culture
Strongly collaborative. We use Slack to quickly solve problems and share solutions.
Work in 2-week sprints, using tools such as Jira

Skill

AWS experience
Full LAMP stack (Linux/Apache/MySQL/PHP) experience
Experience with DevOps tools and practices such as Jenkins, TerraForm, and Vagrant.
Linux experience (RedHat/CentOS 6 and 7/Ubuntu)
Experience with Git or related code repositories.
Experience with debugging and application monitoring services.

Highly desired

Experience with “Infrastructure as Code” practices preferred.
Experience with agile processes (team uses Jira for ticket prioritization) a plus
