What You'll Do As a Data Engineer Level 2 , you'll design, build, and maintain cutting-edge data platforms and pipelines that ensure data is reliable, accessible, and ready to drive analytics, reporting, and innovation. Key Responsibilities Include: Developing scalable ELT pipelines using SQL, Python, dbt, AWS, and Snowflake Building, maintaining, and optimising data models and data products Integrating new data sources to support analytics and reporting needs Implementing data quality, monitoring, and observability solutions Supporting production data pipelines and platform automation Collaborating with Data Scientists, Analytics Engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver impactful solutions Troubleshooting and resolving complex data-related issues Contributing to engineering best practices, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives What We're Looking For 3-5 years' experience in Data Engineering or a related field Strong SQL and Python development skills Hands-on experience with dbt, Snowflake, and AWS Experience with Airflow or similar workflow orchestration tools Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and modern data modelling techniques Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills A passion for building reliable, scalable, and high-quality data solutions Nice to Have Experience working with large-scale data platforms Exposure to cloud migrations and platform modernisation initiatives Knowledge of data governance, observability, or streaming technologies Agile and DevOps experience Experience working within modern cloud-based data ecosystems Why Derivco?
