Take the next step with us! WasteServ, through its contractor OZO Services, is seeking a talented and dedicated Electrician to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities Your main responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Maintain an on-going safe electrical supply at all times throughout the complete plant systems. Ensure you own safety by abiding to health and safety protocols, using the appropriate tools, ensure suitable workmanship, and remaining mindful of the health and wellbeing of other peers and laymen throughout WasteServ facilities. Carry out electrical installations, including the laying of wires and all associated components, apparatus, fixtures, support systems, and other electrical equipment as per national electrical code and safety requirements. Be responsible for any tools and equipment entrusted, ensuring they are maintained in proper working condition, performing any necessary upkeep, and notifying the responsible person of any required calibration. Take ownership of any task at hand and adopt a fault finding, problem-solving attitude to minimise facility downtime. Establish structured documentation and filing systems to facilitate retrieval of documents, schematics, electrical drawings, and any related information for future reference. About You The ideal candidate should be in a possession of: A wireman's Electrical Licence 'A' and Licence 'B', with a minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience. Moreover the selected candidate must: Have a valid and clean driving licence (a copy must be presented with the application).
