Job Description
Toronto East-end Jewellery Store looking for Full-time long term Jeweller Bench Worker.
Vacancy: 1
Salary: $16 Hourly, for at least 40 hours per week.
Skill Requirements: Must completed of college/CEGEP/technical training in Canada.
College diploma.
At least 2 years Hands-on experience on jewellery making/repair.
Type of working materials: precious metal, such as gold, silver, palladium.
Specific Skills: Must familiar with jewellery repair, soldering, filing, finishing, art-cam, wax model making, gem setting, custom-made orders. Must familiar with basic watch repair, cleaning, oiling. Must available on weekends.
Must security check clean, validation of IDs, own tools.
Portfolio, design/work samples required.
Working conditions and Physical Capabilities:
Manual dexterity, attention to detail, Hand-eye co-ordination, ability to distinguish between colors, long period of time sitting, standing, and walking.
Work Site Environment: Non-smoking, dog/pet friendly neighbourhood, AC, own vehicle is recommended.
Essential Skills: Reading text, Documents use, POS system, writing, communication, working with others and customers, Job planning and organizing, All customized work must complete on time
