You'll be part of a lean, dynamic and internationally integrated trading team. We are looking for an energetic candidate to join the team as a Sales and Origination Specialist focusing on the Australian environmental commodities market. You'll be responsible for developing client relationships, identifying and executing structured transactions, and driving commercial growth in both voluntary and compliance markets. You'll play an important role in driving the business forward by constantly engaging with prospective counterparties to fully grasp their needs and apply strategic thinking to tailor-make solutions that cater to these requirements. The role entails exposure to a broad spectrum of professionals at all levels, as well as to companies from various industries and markets. By working strategically to offer counterparties sustainable solutions, you genuinely help them move forward towards a greener future. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • &nbsp; &nbsp;Identify, structure, and execute innovative commercial and trading solutions tailored to counterparties’ needs • &nbsp; &nbsp;Expand our existing customer portfolio • &nbsp; &nbsp;Identify sourcing and trading strategies for the Australian renewable energy markets • &nbsp; &nbsp;Strategic screening of the Regulatory and Supply and Demand developments to help identify commercial opportunities • &nbsp; &nbsp;Support market development initiatives and represent STX in Australia’s renewable energy markets • &nbsp; &nbsp;Build strong relationships with key counterparties KEY REQUIREMENTS • &nbsp; &nbsp;+5 years of working experience within a sales, trading, business development or account management role in Australia / Singapore • &nbsp; &nbsp;Exposure to the Australian Energy Markets including exposure to utilities, renewables, carbon and (or) energy efficiency • &nbsp; &nbsp;Bachelor’s degree (or higher) • &nbsp; &nbsp;Essential commercial and entrepreneurial attitude • &nbsp; &nbsp;Analytical and strategic thinking • &nbsp; &nbsp;Understanding of financial products (e.g. options, forwards, ...) • &nbsp; &nbsp;Eligible to work in NSW, Australia DIVERSITY STATEMENT We encourage and welcome applications from candidates of diverse backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives to enhance our team and contribute to a more inclusive work environment.
