ABOUT YOUR ROLE
This role will provide lead the Operations function for our site in Srilanka for the Retail Brand and Information Solutions business. With the goal of maximizing the efficiency and effectiveness of manpower, material, equipment and space, this role will be aligned to company business plans and goals to deliver on reliability, quality, cost control and safety standards.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
• Provide vision and leadership for the manufacturing organization in Srilanka
• Provide guidance to the plant operations to develop manufacturing process, ensure clear accountability across functions and proactively resolves potential conflicts
• Drive Lean-Sigma manufacturing, manages and executes various programs that lead to improvements in quality, costs and overall efficiency in order to achieve world class manufacturing;
• Establish internal/external benchmarking and measurement expectations of the entire manufacturing organization;
• Lead safety, health and environmental programs in accordance with company policies and guidelines;
• Build and leads a high performance management team by securing the best talents, establishing development plan, identify learning opportunities and providing feedback and coaching to the teams to achieve short and long business objectives/goals
• Effectively manage the changes and challenges to meet the dynamic and highly competitive business environment and provide framework for sharing the best practices
• Prepare and manage the budget of the plant

Qualifications

Qualification Degree holder Minimum 12 years manufacturing experience with at least 6 years’ in a top operations leadership role in sizeable MNC
Leadership and influencing skills – demonstrated capability to work effectively within a complex matrix organizational structure
Experience managing P&L responsibility for the manufacturing operations of a sizeable organization is desirable
Experience managing Employee Unions is an added advantage
High level of drive and ability to rally across multiple stakeholders and functions to drive alignment and action.
