Delivery Driver (Full Time)
Role Overview
The Pioneer has an immediate opening at its production facility in Big Rapids for a full-time Delivery Driver. This position is responsible for the safe loading and unloading of freight (newspapers) and delivering these bundles to various locations.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate all company trucks.
- Ensure vehicles are properly maintained and fluid levels are correct before operating.
- Deliver freight to proper destinations on time.
- Safely and efficiently load and unload cargo.
- Properly prepare printed products for shipping.
- Maintain records, such as vehicle logs, records of cargo, or billing statements, in accordance with regulations.
- Maintain a professional appearance and represent the company in a positive way.
Requirements
- Maintain a valid driver’s license.
- Chauffeur’s license or the ability to obtain one.
- Abide by Michigan traffic laws.
- Ability to pass pre-employment background and drug test.
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical.
