Job Description

Skills required:

Good English language skills (spoken and written)
Some familiarity with other languages is useful (but not essential). Russian, German, French, Spanish, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, are particularly useful.
Good internet access
Good "core" computer skills:
- Familiar with web browsing
- Able to communicate via team tools like Slack and email
- Basic skills with spreadsheets (e.g. Excel) would be useful, but not essential.
Good attention to detail
Able to work independently

Other than using a web browser (Google Chrome), email and Slack, this is a non-technical role. No programming or technical skills are needed.

Qualifications

What the job involves

You will be responsible for checking data from our automated systems, and communicating any errors to our team.

For example:

Brand identification. We have a system which automatically identifies the brand of various products sold on e-commerce websites. In about 10% of cases our automatic system cannot identify the brand — your job will be to identify these gaps or errors in our data, and provide the "correct" answer.
Delivery date identification. Another system automatically identifies expected delivery dates for products sold on e-commerce websites. Again, this system can make "mistakes" in some cases — your job will be to identify any gaps or errors, and provide the "correct" answer.
Price identification. A third system automatically tracks price information for products sold on e-commerce websites. You job will be to to identify any gaps or errors in this data, and provide the "correct" answer.

Additional Information

Working hours

For your first month, during which you will receive training, you will be asked to follow UK working hours, from around 08:00 to 17:00 UK time, Monday to Friday.
After your first month, you will have the opportunity to work flexible hours if you prefer.
These positions can be part-time (20 hours per week) or full-time (40 hours per week).
