The new Dwi Emas Makerspace is a collaborative space that empowers our students’ creations. Powered by tools sponsored by CT Hardware Sdn Bhd, they can bring their prototypes, projects, and entrepreneurial mindset to life! In line with our vision here at Dwi Emas to impart the spirit of entrepreneurship from an early age, we are proud to launch the Makerspace Programme as a new addition to our curriculum. In conjunction with the launch, there will also be special programmes (refer below) lined up for everyone! Highlights include an exclusive hardware roadshow by CT Hardware and woodcrafting workshops by Kedai.co for both primary and secondary levels. The hardware roadshow will feature exciting products from household brands such as Black + Decker, Bosch, Karcher, just to name a few! There will even be a Karcher demo truck where visitors can watch product demos and test them out. The fair is on throughout our Open Day weekend from 21st-23rd September 2018, so come over and check out these sweet deals! Meanwhile, students can enrol in the workshops to learn the processes of creating their very own functional woodcraft and take it home. The workshop will be led by Kedai.co; a Malaysian creative and collaborative space which facilitates the creation of art. This is the second collaboration between Dwi Emas Int. School and Kedai.co after a successful one earlier in May. In conjunction with the launch of #DwiEmasMakerspace, there’s a 50% discount on the normal price of RM65, making it RM32.50! That said, seats are limited to the first 60 students (30 for primary and secondary each), so RSVP quick at bit.ly/dwimakerspacewshop!
