Job Description

The days of managing internal applications simply being about responding to today’s tactical requests and “tickets” are past. Today’s leaders require a pro-active partnership with business users and the ability to identify innovation opportunities before even the business recognizes the need. Business processes need to either be unique and differentiating or tightly aligned with the latest best practices and technology packages. As our client's Business Applications Manager, you will work directly with business leaders to identify and implement packaged application solutions as part of a world class technology support relationship.

Job Functions:

Proactively engage with business leaders to help define strategy, direction and technologies to improve ongoing sales, marketing and customer service efforts.
Be responsible for growing B2B and B2C CRM capabilities.
Be responsible for growing marketing automation capabilities.
Be responsible for growing customer service capabilities.
Oversee design, implementation and integration of packaged business solutions.
Coordinate with business technology teams (custom development, project services, business intelligence) to deliver projects.
Help lead and shape agile processes related to packaged application delivery.
Help balance demands on team between function enhancements with production support.
Help improve system utilization within our client's company.
Oversee transitions from legacy custom built and on premise solutions to dynamic and scalable cloud based products.
Lead and develop a talented team of application administrators.
Foster team technical growth and definition of best practices.
Provide mentoring on business analysis, customer engagement and teamwork.
Manage production support activities for business applications.

Qualifications

Qualifications Required:

8+ years of technical management and implementation experience.
Extensive knowledge and experience with Salesforce.com offerings.
Experience building, supporting and leading a talented team.
Experience working directly with business stake holders to develop solution roadmaps.
Ability to promote and influence a vision at all levels of an organization.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

Ability to learn quickly in a dynamic environment.
Ability to delegate responsibilities and appropriate authority to others while effectively monitoring progress.

Ability to prioritize across multiple channels and drive towards long term goals.
Ability to attract, select and develop a skilled staff able to exceed customer expectations.

Excellent verbal and written communication.
Ability to present complex ideas in a clear, concise fashion to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Experience working as both a team member and a team leader.
Experience with marketing automation solutions.

Qualifications Desired:

Salesforce.com certifications are a strong plus.
Knowledge of Salesforce.com MarketingCloud and Knowledge Center a plus.
Knowledge of Marketo, Pardot, Eloquoa or other marketing solutions.
Experience managing call center solutions a plus.
Experience managing Salesforce.com platform development using Apex and/or VisualForce.
