An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Social Worker to join our client's Older Adults Community Mental Health Team supporting adults with mental health needs and cognitive impairment across Bath &amp; North East Somerset. What will your responsibilities be?&nbsp; Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will carry out a range of statutory social work duties, including: <ul> <li>Strengths-based Care Act Assessments and Reviews</li> <li>Section 117 Assessments and Reviews</li> <li>Mental Capacity Act Assessments</li> <li>Court of Protection work, reports and recording, including S21A challenges</li> <li>Carers Assessments and support planning</li> <li>Commissioning and care package knowledge</li> </ul> The successful candidate will have experience working with older adults, strong risk assessment skills, and a sound understanding of the impact of mental ill health and cognitive impairment on daily functioning. This is a community-based role, so access to your own transport is essential. Flexible working arrangements may be available once established within the team.
