Maintenance Co-ordinator

Maintenance Co-ordinator at Balaena Falmouth

Help Keep Things Running Smoothly

Great at keeping people, schedules and information organised? If you spot issues early and keep maintenance on track, this could be the role for you.

Reporting to the Senior Facilities Administrator, you'll work with teams, contractors and maintenance specialists to keep systems, records and activities running smoothly.

Why Balaena?

Balaena is a growing maritime business supporting defence and commercial customers with ship repair, shipbuilding and engineering across the UK and Gibraltar.

Teamwork and practical problem-solving keep our operations moving — and this role is central to that.

Sound like you?

We're looking for someone organised, proactive and detail-focused who can handle changing priorities and communicate clearly.

What you'll be doing:

· Coordinate planned and reactive maintenance across Balaena's facilities.

· Manage schedules and CMMS work orders, following up on delays.

· Coordinate teams, contractors, visits, access and RAMS.

· Keep asset, maintenance and compliance records up to date.

· Arrange inspections, servicing and compliance activities.

· Prepare work packs, reports and KPI updates.

· Support audits and improve processes where you can.

You'll be a great fit if you:

· Are organised, accurate and comfortable juggling priorities.

· Take initiative and focus on solutions.

· Build strong relationships with colleagues, contractors and stakeholders.

· Are confident using systems, data and reports.

· Understand the importance of safety, compliance and reliability.

Ready to help keep our operations running safely and smoothly?

· If you're organised, proactive and ready to make a difference, we'd love to hear from you.
