Camp Cook – Camp Sokil Overnight Summer Camp Location: Camp Sokil, 16 Taras Blvd, Hawkestone, ON Dates: July 1 – August 10, 2025 Type: Full-Time (30–40 hours/week) Compensation: Based on experience About The Position Camp Sokil is seeking an experienced Camp Cook to join our overnight summer camp team. This position is responsible for preparing nutritious meals for children and staff, ensuring food safety, and maintaining a clean kitchen environment. Responsibilities Prepare daily meals for approximately 50-80 campers and staff Create weekly menus in collaboration with camp leadership Maintain proper food storage, hygiene, and kitchen cleanliness Accommodate dietary needs (vegetarian, allergies, etc.) Supervise and work alongside kitchen assistants Qualifications Previous cooking experience in a camp, school, or large-group setting Food Handler Certification (required) Strong time management and organizational skills Ability to work independently and in a team setting To apply: Email your resume to [email protected] with subject line: Camp Sokil Cook Application Kitchen Assistant (3 Positions) – Camp Sokil Overnight Summer Camp Location: Camp Sokil, 16 Taras Blvd, Hawkestone, ON Dates: July 1 – August 10, 2025 Type: Full-Time (30–40 hours/week) Compensation: Funded by the Canada Summer Jobs Program About The Position We’re hiring three Kitchen Assistants to support food preparation and kitchen operations at our beautiful lakefront overnight camp. Responsibilities Supervise campers and lead recreational and cultural activities Monitor waterfront activities and ensure camper safety Respond to emergencies and administer first aid Promote a positive, inclusive camp environment Qualifications National Lifeguard Cert
