One of Nordic Investin’s partner companies is looking for a Senior Data Engineer, with Nordic Investin leading the recruitment process. You want data products to be dependable enough that analysts stop building workarounds around the platform. You will create pipelines, models and services that make complex data accessible while improving quality, lineage and operational ownership. Provenance, quality, access and evaluation belong in the solution from the beginning. Solutions should be designed for repeatable delivery, monitored use and responsible change after deployment. As a senior colleague, you will own substantial outcomes and help others make stronger decisions. You are expected to recognise risk early, communicate it without drama and move work forward with practical alternatives. What you will do

Build batch and streaming data pipelines. Model trusted datasets for analytics and machine learning. Develop APIs and services that expose data products. Improve orchestration, testing and data quality controls. Optimise performance and cost across the platform. Collaborate with analysts, product managers and application engineers. What you will bring

Strong Python and SQL in production data environments. Experience with a cloud data platform such as Databricks, Snowflake or BigQuery. Knowledge of orchestration, transformation and data modelling. Experience with CI CD and infrastructure as code for data systems. Understanding of data quality, governance and observability. Experience that would add value

dbt and modern analytics engineering practices. Kafka or another streaming platform. Experience supporting AI or advanced analytics products. A background that can succeed here
