Site-Coordinator HVDC Service
HVDC technology is used to transmit electricity over long distances and for power transmission via submarine cables. It is also used to connect power systems. For our HVDC upgrade projects we are looking for a person that will plan and coordinate our site activities in HVDC Service. This is a role with many interfaces and interesting work tasks, with the possibility to take on shorter site assignments and extended responsibilities within site management, construction, and commissioning activities. Curious to explore this opportunity further? • Support site execution and, when required, take on coordination responsibilities aligned with Site Manager tasks during shorter assignments or critical project phases. • Act as an interface between site, project management, customers, and the home organization to ensure smooth communication and alignment. • Staffing the HVDC site, monitoring required training (e.g. electrical safety), and handling travel preparations as well as providing information to staff before travelling to site. • Coordinate subcontractor activities and support follow-up of their performance and compliance with scope, quality, and HSE requirements. • Ordering tools and instruments needed during the site activities and ensuring readiness for execution. • HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) site preparations and supporting a culture of safe execution in line with company, customer, and local requirements. • Contribute to site execution planning, risk identification, and mitigation activities to ensure timely and efficient delivery. • Ensure structured documentation handling, including use of latest revisions, and support as-built documentation processes. • Creating documentation for contractor procurement and taking an active part in the procurement process. • Support financial follow-up of the field operation activities and contribute to cost awareness. • Tendering work to develop cost calculations for work to be carried out on site and in future projects. • Support commissioning coordination and readiness, including alignment of installation, testing, and handover activities. • Contribute to continuous improvement, lessons learned, and sharing of best practices across projects. Your Background
